About Rob
Rob's home town is King's Lynn in Norfolk where he grew up. He now lives just outside Cambridge; an area he chose due its central location and access to the rest of the country.
Rob's autodidactic approach to photography began when he bought his first digital camera in 2002. At that time he was working in the event and promotions industry as a freelance Event Manager.
Rob has now retired from the Event Management world to persue his passion for photography; transforming his hobby in to a full time career as a Professional Photographer.
Calling on over 15 years of Event Management experience and 6 years' experience working in retail, Rob has an eye to capture images from a marketing, artistic, approachable and personable prospective.

Coroprate Photogrpahy & On-Site Printing for Speedway Grand Prix
As rights holder of the Speedway Grand Prix series we promote and organise the FIM World Championship and the FIM BRITISH SPEEDWAY GRAND PRIX is held at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff were we have 44,000 fans. A big part of the event is the hospitality programme which caters for 280 guests in the VIP Methanol Club. Giving our guest a good experience is paramount to the success of the event and one area we have struggled to meet expectations has been a photographic memento of the occasions....until this year. Having met Rob and his team at Wimbledon on 2009 we commissioned them to take photographs of our VIP guest in the Methanol Club in 2010. This proved a huge success and improvement on the previous year and Rob and is team did a great job and not only gave the guests a great gift to take away but also took on a lot of responsibility and made the event easier for my team.
Our Bury St Edmunds Events
Rob Holding has been the official photographer at all the Our Bury St Edmunds BID (Business Improvement District) for over a year now. Examples of his work can be found on the website www.burystedmundsfestivals.com. Rob, is an extremely proficient and artistic photographer who is a joy to work with and can easily deliver specific requests but is just as productive when given some 'artistic licence'. As well as the website we have used his images in our Business Plan, Christmas Card and other publications. He is totally reliable, punctual and provides the images either online or as discs extremely promptly after the events. He is a consummate professional and I am delighted to work with him and envisage doing so for the foreseeable future.
Coroprate, Event and Stock Photogrpahy
Rob has a natural gift for capturing key moments with his images. He took some incredible photos of the Magpas Helimedix teams at night, which given the lack of natural day light and florescent flight suits the team wear, was the ultimate challenge!
Rob is really personable, he's very good at putting people at ease and is extremely creative with how the visual layout of each shot should look. He has been amazingly supportive and generous with his time. He has in no small part helped to spread the word about the charity. We highly recommend his photography skills, he's excellent!
